Eagle Claw Rod and Reel Limited One-Year Warranty

Eagle Claw guarantees the original owner with a limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. If the product should fail due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will replace the product, at our discretion, and return it to you. Simply return the product with a copy of your original receipt directly to the Eagle Claw Warranty Center. In order for us to complete the warranty as quickly as possible, we must have the entire product including the broken parts.

Please ship to the address below, freight prepaid, insured for your original purchase price in a disposable container. Include a copy of the original purchase receipt and a check or money order for $10.00 payable to Eagle Claw to cover the cost of processing and handling. (International customers will be charged actual shipping and insurance costs, and will be responsible for all related customs and duty charges.) Please be sure to include your name, address, email, daytime phone number including area code and a short note describing the problem.

 Should we decide to replace the damaged product, but no longer offer the exact model, we will provide you with the closest comparable model of equal value from our current product line. If after the second year or the defect is determined by our technicians to be due to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect or misuse, the product can still be replaced at a reasonable cost. You will be contacted and a full estimate will be provided. This warranty is limited to replacement of the product and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damages resulting from the use of this product. This warranty does not cover fire, theft, loss, intentional breakage, modification or customization. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. The warranty is not transferable and is only good to the original owner. This warranty is the only warranty expressed or implied applicable to the Eagle Claw product. This warranty will be honored solely by the Wright & McGill Co

Limited Lifetime Warranty for Trailmaster Rods Only

Eagle Claw Trailmaster rod warranty covers the original owner with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. A copy of the original receipt is required to verify purchase date. Eagle Claw cannot honor the warranty without original proof of purchase.

If the rod fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, Eagle Claw will replace it and return it as quickly as possible. Simply return the rod with your original receipt directly to:

Non-Warranty Procedures

Eagle Claw rods and reels that are no longer covered by the one-year warranty can be replaced for 50% off the suggested retail price of a new one. The new rod or reel will be the same make and model unless out of stock, in which case a similar model will be substituted.

An invoice will be sent with the charges and, once payment is received, the rod or reel will be returned to you. You can pay by VISA, MasterCard or American Express over the phone or by sending a check or money order. Please follow these steps when sending your rod or reel to us for non-warranty repairs:

1) Send complete rod or reel back to us (pre-paid shipping)

2) Please enclose an explanation of the problem you are experiencing

3) Please list the model name and number of your rod or reel

4) Include your name, return address and daytime phone number

5) To protect your rod or reel against loss or further damage in transit, please carefully  package and insure the shipment

6) Please keep all shipping receipts

7) Use a shipping company that can track your package

Reasons for Non-Warranty Rods and Reels

An Eagle Claw rod and reel will no longer be covered by the one-year warranty should any of the following apply:

Malfunctions or damage due to abuse or misuse, accidental breakage, normal wear, in need of cleaning and/or re-lubrication due to owner’s failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, malfunctions caused by inadequate repair and/or alterations.

This warranty is the only warranty, expressed or implied, applicable to any Eagle Claw rod or reel. Wright & McGill Co. (manufacturer of Eagle Claw rods and reels) neither assumes nor authorizes any other person or entity to assume for it any obligation or liability in connection with the Eagle Claw rod or reel.

 Remedies available under this warranty are limited to the express terms of this warranty, and any consequential damages which may result from the breach of this warranty (expressed or implied), are hereby excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Only Wright & McGill Co. can make any warranty adjustments.
