Great Story – I wanted to share with everyone about the one the DIDN’T get away.
Dear sirs, Just wanted to let you know what a great pole you have. Yesterday I was fishing for crappie in an area lake with one of your poles I purchased 20 plus years ago. I also was using your Eagle Claw crappie hook with a minnow and caught a catfish that weighed 63.92 lbs using 6 lb. test line. Could not believe I got him in,but your pole brought him in.
Thanks, Randy

To start with I have always been an Eagle Claw rod fan, great rods at great prices, but you guys have out done yourselfs this time.
I purchased the featherlight 7′6″ rod a week ago and used for some perch fihing. The rod was so good at detecting very light bites and yet stiff enought to be able to set the hook with only the fick of my rist that I was out catching my two fishing partners three to one. Now both of these guys are going to buy at least one of these rods and I am going to buy a secound one for arsenal.
Thanks for a great job!!!
Thanks!
Dave

Dave, Thanks so much. Glad you like the new Featherlight. It has seen a really nice upgrade for 2010. I love the action and use it regularly for Colorado trout.

Dear Eagle Claw,
I took my twelve y/o son trout fishing this past weekend and realized the reel I was using is nearly three times older than my son and just as reliable as the day I bought it.
The reel is an Eagle Claw 302 Forecaster I purchased at an ARMY NAVY Store in my hometown in the late 70’s. I think I paid less than $12 for the reel. I have searched numerous store sites, Ebay, Craigslist and antique websites trying to find just one more.
Thanks Eagle Claw for the memories and and many, many, many great days of fishing and trout in the pan.
