The Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force, working through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service and the U.S. Coast Guard, is implementing a new campaign called “Stop Aquatic Hitchikers!”™ This campaign, targeted at recreational users of the aquatic resources, calls upon anglers, boaters, paddlers, SCUBA divers, waterfowl hunters and others to become informed about aquatic nuisance species and to follow simple preventive procedures every time they leave any body of water.
